Westside Team

Here at T-Junction Children’s Services we have a group of highly qualified individuals that have a vast amount of experience within the children’s home sector, please read each of their profiles below.

Tim Clare - Responsible Individual

Tim is an individual who has lived and breathed the care system. He was in care himself for 20 years. Since leaving care, he has made it his mission to improve services and outcomes for children in care in a variety of job roles.

In his words

"Working critically, developing powerful relationships, possessing excellent communication and engagement skills, are of fundamental importance when seeking to achieve the best outcomes for young people.
Building young people's resilience and treating their transitional experiences with paramount importance is equally vital. It is so important to go the extra mile like any good, and effective, corporate parent should."

Tim brings significant, and relevant personal experience. He has also worked with Children in Care (CiC) for a vast amount of time in a number of different job roles which means he has a lot of expert knowledge to offer. Tim is a versatile character who brings enthusiasm, and passion.

Tim has an excellent understanding of what an outstanding home looks like and he aspires to put these evidence based approaches into practice. Similarly, Tim has lived in 20 different foster homes, where again, he has been able to observe and experience himself, good, and bad, practice. Tim is in a position to convey an evidence based view on what can make the the difference, and is able to offer credibility, in his approaches to working with young people in care.
